Professor Clive Lee delivers inaugural lecture at RCSI
Prior to the annual Medical Faculty Dinner, Professor Clive Lee, 29th RCSI Professor of Anatomy, delivered his inaugural lecture on the theme of 'Re-engineering Colles: Form, Function and Fragility Fractures'.
He described his work in the fields of anatomy, bioengineering, teaching and research, and said that the philosophy of teaching advocated by RCSI's sixth Professor of Anatomy, Abraham Colles, still holds true.
He disagreed, however, with Colles' view that the laws of mathematics are not applicable to medicine.
