His Excellency, Datuk Dr Chua Soi Lec, Malaysian Minister for Health, paid an official visit to RCSI today

The Minister was accompanied by Datuk Dr Hj. Mohd Ismail Merican, Director General, Ministry of Health Malaysia; Dato’ Siddiq Firdause Mohd Ali, Malaysian Ambassador to Ireland and other officials from the Ministry for Health and Malaysian Embassy.

The delegation met with Mr Michael Horgan, CEO/Registrar and other senior College officials. The visitors were informed of key developments at RCSI and opportunities for mutual co-operation between the Ministry for Health and RCSI were also discussed. The visit will serve to further strengthen existing strong links between our two institutions and countries.
