The North American Chapter of Fellows met in San Francisco in conjunction with the 91st American College of Surgeons Annual Clinical Congress (ACS).

The purpose of the Chapter Meeting is to promote and foster relationships between the College and its Fellows and Members in North America. These meetings provide social and professional networking opportunities as well as an opportunity to strengthen ties with the RCSI.

The President of the Chapter Dr Tom McDonald and his wife Mary travelled from their home in Minnesota for the occasion.

Nearly 100 RCSI Fellows and Members live in the United States and Canada. Many of them attended this event, where they enjoyed the chance to catch up with colleagues who had travelled from Ireland and around the world.
