A portrait of RCSI Past President Professor Niall O'Higgins by celebrated Irish artist James Hanley RHA was formally presented to the College at an RCSI Council Dinner last night.

RCSI President Professor Gerald O'Sullivan unveiled the portrait and the Ethicon Past President's medal was presented to Professor O'Higgins.

Guests at the dinner included the artist James Hanley who is a graduate of UCD and the National College of Art and Design. He is regarded as one of Ireland's top portrait artists.
