Members of the Dublin Fire Brigade were conferred with a Diploma in Emergency Medical Technology at RCSI.

The ceremony was presided over by Professor Gerald O’Sullivan, President of RCSI.

Since its introduction almost four years ago, the Diploma represents the strong partnership between the RCSI and Dublin Fire Brigade.

The one-year training programme gives students both the knowledge and skills to work effectively alongside their colleagues in Dublin Fire Brigade. This includes a clinical placement and culminates in exams in emergency medical technology.
