The basketball team from the RCSI Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI-MUB) visited Dublin this week with their coach Dr Declan Gaynor.

While in Ireland they will play both RCSI Dublin and Institute of Technology Tallaght in two practice games.

The RCSI-MUB Basketball Club has been running since the College first opened in 2004 and the men’s team has competed in a number of international tournaments.

Corriena Brien from Student Services said: "We are delighted to welcome the first sports team from RCSI-MUB to Dublin. The tour has provided another opportunity for students and staff to come together and share experiences and ideas which will positively contribute to college life in both Dublin and Bahrain. We hope this is the first of many such visits."
