The Mardyke Arena at UCC launched their 'Breast Health-Your Wealth' campaign in support of Breast Cancer Ireland at RCSI.

The Breast Health Your Wealth Programme will run from June to December 2009 and during this time there will be a heightened focus on breast health awareness; support services; research and treatment available. As part of the programme, the Mardyke Arena staff will be proudly sporting new pink uniform shirts in support of Breast Cancer Ireland. 

Professor Arnie Hill told the assembled group of guests how delighted he was for Breast Cancer Ireland that the Mardyke Arena had the vision to promote such an initiative within its Leisure Centre and said, “Breast health awareness promotion such as being undertaken by the Mardyke Arena at UCC shows great commitment and understanding that all women, regardless of age, should be breast aware.”
