The Summer Meeting of the Forum of Surgery of Great Britain and Ireland took place at RCSI in Dublin from 20-21 July 2009.

RCSI was delighted to host the two-day meeting of the Forum which brings together the Surgical Royal Colleges of Great Britain and Ireland, the Surgical Specialty Associations, the Faculties of Dental Surgery and Accident and Emergency. 
 
The Forum meets four times per year rotating around the four Surgical Royal Colleges as follows: 

• January - Royal College of Surgeons of England 
• April - Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh 
• July - Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland 
• October - Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow
