The American Ambassador to Ireland, Daniel Rooney, visited RCSI today. Ambassador Rooney was appointed to his position as Ambassador earlier this year for his longstanding support for Irish-American charitable causes.

Ambassador Rooney and his wife Patricia met with Mr Michael Horgan, CEO; Professor Cathal Kelly; Dean, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences; Professor Arthur Tanner, Director of Surgical Affairs; Professor Hannah McGee; Deputy Director, Research; Professor Ray Stallings; Professor of Cancer Genetics; Ms Louise Loughran, Associate Director, Communications & Events and Ms Aisling Hurley; Director of Development. Mr Rooney and his wife also met with RCSI medical students from the United States of America.
