Tánaiste Mary Coughlan launches new RCSI programme
Tánaiste and Minister for Education and Skills Mary Coughlan launched a new masters programme in Organisational Change and Leadership Development in Beaumont Hospital on Wednesday, 27 October.
The programme which is jointly delivered by the RCSI Institute of Leadership and DCU Business School is accredited by NUI and DCU and will be a joint award.
At the launch Tánaiste and Minister for Education and Skills Mary Coughlan acknowledged the initiative as a milestone in healthcare education, with many opportunities to gain from the expertise of all three institutions.
The event was attended by Professor Eilis McGovern (President, RCSI), Professor Brian MacCraith (President, DCU), Professor Cathal Kelly (CEO, RCSI), Professor Anne Scott (Vice-President, DCU) Professor Hannah McGee (Dean Medical Faculty, RCSI), Professor Bernard Pierce (Head of Business School, DCU) and Dr Attracta Halpin (Registrar, NUI), along with other representatives from RCSI and the Institute of Leadership staff.
