Breast Cancer Ireland Golf Classic 2012

Breast Cancer Ireland hosted its annual Golf Classic in conjunction with the Leopardstown Inn at Druids Glen Golf Resort, County Wicklow to raise vital funding to support research into Breast Cancer.

45 teams put on their sun cream and played amidst blazing sunshine in the 'Garden of Ireland'.

The winning men's team with an impressive score of 92 points was Noel O'Callaghan of the O'Callaghan Hotel Group, followed closely with 89 points by Dery Desmond's Team. The winning ladies team with an impressive score of 79 points was hosted by Marie Harpur.

The longest men's drive was won by Chris Latham with an impressive drive of 320 yards, while the longest ladies drive was won by Ruth Kelly with an impressive drive of 200 yards.

The prize giving will take place on Saturday, 9 June at the Leopardstown Inn Pink Tie Party from 8pm, where there will be plenty of entertainment and raffle prizes on offer.
