Breast Cancer Ireland's Great Pink Run raises over €110,000

Sunday, 16 September at the Point Village, saw over 3000 participants run, jog and walk the Great Pink Run for Breast Cancer Ireland raising in excess of €110,000 for pioneering breast cancer research programmes.

RCSI was out in force with teams from the research labs along with members of the Senior Management Team including CEO Professor Cathal Kelly who competed in the 10k run along with Eunan Friel, Managing Director of Surgical Affairs.

Other companies took to the challenge and sent large teams to compete including Abbott Labs, State Street Global, Deloitte and Ulster Bank to name but a few. Breast Cancer Ireland would like to thank everyone for their support in helping them in their 'race for a cure'.
