The first year group of the Masters in Leadership in Health Professions Education was honoured to have Professor Aine Hyland attend the final year one module.

Professor Hyland is Emeritus Professor of Education and former Vice-President of University College Cork, Ireland. 

She gave an inspirational talk on ‘Leadership in Higher Education' in which she gave some insights into the challenges and learning opportunities she faced in her leadership roles. 

The MSc in Leadership in Health Professions Education is an innovative blended learning programme that is designed for health care educators who want to develop best practice in teaching and learning, while also developing their understanding and practice of organisational leadership. It is run in partnership with the University of Sharjah.
