More than 300 senior citizens visited RCSI on the evening of Thursday, 17 July for the Ballroom of Romance. This is the fourth year that RCSI has hosted this annual entertainment evening of dinner, music and dancing held for senior citizens living in the catchment area of the College.

The event is organised by Ms Maria Kelly, REACH RCSI Programme Manager, in partnership with Dublin City Council South East Area Community Development team.

Music on the night was provided by the Garda Band. Entertainment included a surprise ‘flash mob' dance performance from the senior citizens.

REACH RCSI works in partnership with primary and post primary schools, youth and community groups together with the local community on the design and delivery of educational initiatives including grinds clubs, science workshops, sports and health programmes and an education information service.
