On Friday, 4 March RCSI's School of Postgraduate Studies hosted a lecture series and an afternoon Masterclass on Scientific Writing and Publishing facilitated by the Nature journal editors.

The journal Nature journal has the highest impact factor of any journal publishing basic scientific research and this event presented a unique opportunity for RCSI researchers to receive editors' feedback on what makes a successful paper.

In addition to the event RCSI has purchased a one-year subscription of Nature Masterclass Online (NMO) and all RCSI researchers and staff can avail of this online resource.

The subscription is funded under the Programme for Research in Third-Level Institutions and co-funded under the European Regional Development fund.
