Delegates from Hoshi University attend RCSI Future Healthcare workshop
As part of the Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) funded International Strategic Collaboration Award (ISCA) Japan, RCSI (Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland), in collaboration with Hoshi University, Tokyo, hosted a second workshop on Future Healthcare - Biomedical Sciences, Technologies and Applications.
The workshop was held on 21-22 April 2016 in RCSI, Dublin. The aim of the workshop, to which a number of colleagues from Hoshi University travelled to RCSI, was to advance initial discussions by providing a platform for researchers from both institutes to showcase their work.
The aim was to facilitate joint applications for future scientific and industry funding towards innovative, applied research and technologies.
The workshop was opened by the Ambassador of Japan to Ireland, Mari Miyoshi and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences, Professor Hannah McGee.
