The Estate and Support Services Department of RCSI has won two awards at the annual Facilities Management Awards, held last night in the Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin. The RCSI team picked up the ‘Overall Excellence in Facilities Management' and ‘Excellence in Health & Safety' awards.

This is the premier awards programme for benchmarking excellence within Ireland's facilities management sector, which offers a unique opportunity to celebrate industry excellence and network with the most influential figures and leading organisations in the facilities management sector. 

Winning these awards is testament to the excellent service hard work and dedication of the entire Estates team.

Speaking on their awards, Kenneth Gormley, Associate Director and Head of Estate & Support Services, said: "I am very proud of the team and we were honoured to represent RCSI in receiving industry recognition of our initiatives and efforts. This is a first for the Estate and Support Services department and these awards represent a real team effort from across the College with close collaboration in particular with the HR team. A special mention goes to Yvette Moffatt (Estate and Support Services) and Ruth Casserly (HR) for their hard work and creative approach to establishing RCSI Inspire and again, my congratulations goes to the entire Estate and Support Services team.”
