With the announcement of a red weather alert for the east coast of Ireland by Met Éireann and the disruption to transport services by Dublin Bus for the rest of this week, the following decision has been made in relation to RCSI.

Classes are cancelled and RCSI will be closed today (28 February), tomorrow (1 March) and Friday, (2 March).

A decision in relation to reopening will depend on the weather alert status. Please pay attention to the emails, RCSI Facebook and Twitter and this website for updates.

In the interest of safety, students and staff are advised not to travel unnecessarily.

If you are a student on clinical placement elsewhere in Ireland, please make decisions regarding attendance based on health and safety. Where possible if you are not attending, please let your teaching team know.
