RCSI MiniMed 2018

200 students will get the opportunity to experience what it is like to study medicine and work as a doctor at RCSI this week. The RCSI Transition Year MiniMed programme takes place from Monday, 26 February to Friday, 1 March at 26 York Street.

Over the five-day programme, students will participate in interactive lectures and workshops and witness real-life procedures via livestream. Students will receive clinical skills training as well as practical experience in a wide range of specialities, including human anatomy, sports medicine, surgery, paediatrics, forensic medicine and family practice.

Due to the popularity of the programme, now in its eleventh year, a number of sessions of the programme will be available for students to watch from schools around Ireland. Students are invited to submit questions to the panel of speakers via social media channels (InstagramTwitter, Facebook) or via email to info@rcsi.ie.
