Entry requirements
This module is ideally suited to doctors working in orthopaedic, rheumatology, sports medicine and general practice settings, as well as allied health professionals, such as physiotherapists and nurses, working in advanced practice/musculoskeletal triage roles, alongside consultants, in public or private rheumatology or orthopaedic hospital clinics.
You must demonstrate proof of registration with their registration/professional bodies, provide evidence of currently appropriate indemnity insurance and provide written evidence of an agreement with a mentor/supervisor for the learning in–practice components of the course.
You will be required to show evidence of the following:
- Mentor support letter – guidance for mentors is available here to assist you in identifying a suitable mentor.
- Manager support letter
- Current and appropriate indemnity insurance
- Professional registration with an appropriate medical, physiotherapy or nursing governing /professional body such as the Irish Medical Council, CORU, or the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
Fees
Total fee: €1,350 (+ €50 non-refundable application fee).
