International expert faculty
Our esteemed faculty member, Dr Rosemarie Derwin, is a lecturer and programme director at the School of Nursing and Midwifery at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin. She is also a leading researcher at the Skin Wounds and Trauma (SwaT) Research Centre. After completing her general nurse training in the Netherlands in 1995, she returned to Ireland, where she worked for several years at Beaumont Hospital and the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. Dr Derwin has a diverse background in head and neck cancer, haematological nursing, care of the elderly, infection prevention and control, and tissue viability. Her extensive experience spans clinical practice, management, and education.
