Sport at RCSI

Sport is central to student life at RCSI. In fact not only do we have a new, state-of-the-art gym which is free for all of our students to use, we are also immensely proud of our 30+ active sports clubs, many of which represent RCSI at intercollegiate competitions and regional and national tournaments.

Sports bursary

No strangers to sporting achievement, whether in rugby, athletics or GAA, the University is committed to ensuring that all sporting pursuits among the student body are not only supported, but encouraged.

Part of this encouragement comes in the form of a sports bursary for sports people who excel in a variety of extracurricular sporting endeavours while completing their studies at RCSI. So whether you’re representing the University, your county or country, contact Student Services to learn more about how we can assist you on your sporting journey.
