Soochow University

Founded in 1900, Soochow University – located in the picturesque city of Suzhou in the Jiangsu province – is ranked in the top 5% of Chinese universities.

Established in 2005, the College of Pharmaceutical Science of Soochow University is located at the Dushu Lake Campus and is a training base for high-end pharmacy talents in China.

Since 2020, RCSI and Soochow University have run a successful international StAR PhD programme in which Soochow MSc graduates working with an RCSI and a Soochow supervisor undertake a fully-funded four-year structured PhD, spending two years at each institute.
