International Community Engagement
The International Community Engagement (ICE) programme offers student volunteers the opportunity to collaborate and work with healthcare institutions and professionals in developing countries.
Students have the chance to observe diseases and procedures that are less common within their own cultures and experience the healthcare needs of those less privileged as well as the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally.
Selection for the programme is extremely competitive and is based on interviews, academic performance and previous roles in Community Outreach activities.
Since its establishment in 2013, the ICE programme has visited locations in Vietnam, India, Lesotho and Tanzania and continues to seek further opportunities.
