RCSI in the community

At RCSI Bahrain, we're committed to making a positive difference to local communities and beyond and encourage our students, staff and alumni to include altruism in their journey towards becoming future healthcare leaders.

RCSI Bahrain proudly partners with a variety of stakeholders and has formed strong links within local, regional and international communities. Through these partnerships, students have the opportunity to provide valuable hours volunteering, raising funds for local charities and participating in clinical and healthcare initiatives.

Since the Community Outreach office was established in 2012, RCSI Bahrain has participated in over 150 community events and contributed 10,000+ hours to supporting local and international communities.

Among the events that our representatives have taken part in are health awareness walkathons, children’s charity events, programmes for schools and children with learning difficulties, local beach-cleans and blood donation drives in collaboration with the Bahrain Blood Bank.
