His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a group of Bahrain’s top-performing students, along with other distinguished guests. The students, ranging from secondary school pupils to outstanding university achievers, included Ms Asal Buhasan and Mr Khaled Husain, both Senior Cycle 2 students from RCSI Medical University of Bahrain.

Ms Buhasan and Mr Husain were recognised in the fifth category of Outstanding Students from Private Higher Education Institutions for their contribution to international peer-reviewed research.

During the ceremony, His Majesty delivered a speech commending the students on their remarkable academic achievements and their success in regional and international competitions; emphasising the crucial role of education in promoting peace.
