To inspire our students on their journey to becoming future healthcare leaders and celebrate their academic achievements, RCSI Medical University of Bahrain announced 53 students as the winners of the 2023-24 President’s Honours List, in a ceremony at its campus.

On an annual basis, the President’s Honours List recognises the top six academically ranked students across the University’s undergraduate programmes; this year, 30 students from the School of Medicine and 23 students from the School of Nursing and Midwifery were celebrated for their outstanding academic achievements.

Professor Sameer Otoom, President of RCSI Medical University of Bahrain, commented: "I extend my sincere congratulations to all the winners of the President's Honours List. Their remarkable academic achievements exemplify their passion for the healthcare profession and determination to succeed. At RCSI Medical University of Bahrain, we are immensely proud of our student's accomplishments, and we look forward to their success in their academic journey, as we equip them with the skills, knowledge and opportunities to support their professional and personal development to become compassionate healthcare leaders who advance healthcare in Bahrain and beyond.”

Introduced in 2019, the President’s Honours List recognises students with exceptional academic performance by recording this recognition on their transcripts and accompanying it with a financial bursary.
