RCSI has a proven track-record of collaborating with higher education institutions, industry partners and professional training bodies to adapt experiential simulation-based learning to our partners’ needs.
One such example is our collaboration with the Dublin Fire Brigade, which was an early adopter of RCSI’s facilities and technology to deliver paramedic training. Through this partnership, Dublin Fire Brigade teams gain valuable and critical experiential learning particularly in the area of obstetrics.
We also collaborate nationally and internationally with clinical specialties and industry, including many leading simulation technology companies and medical equipment manufacturers, in designing courses, practical execution and assessments. RCSI SIM is recognised by CAE Healthcare as a certified Centre of Excellence, partnering with CAE Healthcare to advance experiential simulation-based education and research in healthcare. This partnership offer's RCSI trainees, students and partners access to CAE Healthcare simulation technology, some of the most advanced in the world.
