RCSI Bahrain was delighted to attend the Jordan Red Crescent Society’s 75th Anniversary held last weekend in Amman, Jordan.

At the event, hosted by President of the Jordan Red Crescent Society, His Excellency Dr Mohammed Al-Hadid, and the Honorary President of the Jordan Red Crescent Society and Jordanian Minister of Health, Dr Firas Al Hawari, RCSI Bahrain was recognised with an award for its contribution to supporting the healthcare needs of refugees in Jordan as part of our collaboration with the Jordan Red Crescent Society, Bahrain Red Crescent Society and Operation Childlife. Professor Sameer Otoom, President of RCSI Bahrain, received the award on behalf of the university. We look forward to further strengthening our relationship with JRCS and applaud them for all the humanitarian support extended to all communities in Jordan.
