Buddy programme

Coordinated by the Centre for Student Success, the Buddy programme is designed to help new-joining students settle into their first year of study by assigning an experienced peer from a more senior year to act as a guide or 'Buddy'.

Each Buddy will be assigned to a small group of new students to look after during orientation and should be available to offer support and valuable information during those early stages.

The Buddies are expected to be friendly, welcoming, understanding, empathetic, motivating and knowledgeable about campus life.

Continuing students entering JC1, JC3, N2 or N3 are invited to apply to become a Buddy for the next academic year.
